22 Feb 2006. That was when I wrote my first blog post. Since then I've moved, got and lost a dream job, cried myself sick over the loss of my Puppy-Butt, experienced the daily surprises of owning being owned by a special needs cat, joined countless "Alongs" and "BOMs", finished a few things.

I slacked off on writing posts and then came back with a new focus on more than one occasion. I actually go back and read some of the posts I've written - those get put under the "THESE posts might change your life" category over there on the sidebar. I revisit some posts that made me and many of you laugh (Blogging in the Shower and Felting Success... are a couple that still get comments and in person laughter) There have been rants and raves and grand ideas (oy) and spectacular failures. And I've shared them all with you. Yep. When you're a talkative blogger, you leave your pride at the door and learn to laugh at yourself with everyone else.

I've made friends. Oh, my, I've made friends. Some have left comments that made my life easier (okay, there was probably a forehead slap and "DUH" to go along with them), many have made me laugh, and everyone has made me feel like part of a big, close community.
