Gotta Love Her
July 21, 2007
I've decided to take a break from MS3 over the weekend. We're taking a short trip and I don't think it would be a good idea to transport lace and charts and lifelines and-and-and....
I was going to say that I need to give my hands a rest, since I'm in danger of ending up with no opposable thumbs, but my guess is that it won't happen. I've had a hare-brained idea involving finger puppets for the Offspring, using up bits and pieces of stash yarn.
So in place of fiber-ish stuff or rants, I give you
A Day in the Life of my puppy-butt:
Remember that I'd said it took three days to quilt the
Dream Stars quilt? Maybe it wasn't
just me.
Here she is, doing her impression of a Beany Baby...
...hearing the refrigerator open...
... and realizing that FOOD has been taken out of the 'fridge.
This is closely followed by the in-motion-dash-to-the-kitchen so that she can monitor any and all food prep. She is also sure to remind whomever's handling the food that she's there (occasionally by employing the TangleFoot maneuver).
Hmmm. This is sort of a "lights on, no one home" picture, isn't it?
Ahhh, she's been watching "ET" again...Oh, yeah.
Monday's my birthday. Guess what The Girl is giving me? A new son-in-law! (aka Lifesaver)
