Almost Done
May 23, 2006
Woo-hoo! The Meredith Sweater is almost done!
I didn't work on it during the season finale of Grey's Anatomy - and a good thing, too, since my tension would probably have been so tight that I couldn't get my hand through the sleeves. Wow, what a finale! (And, yes, I cried at the end.)
Here's a pic of the sweater just before I began the finishing, marker threads and all... it would be nice if I actually had a foo-foo wall that I could stand in front of for pics, but I edited out the bathroom door and filled in with what you see here.
I'm not trying to be all runway with the placement of my hand... I needed to hold the yarn bobbins that are attached to each sleeve.
Since taking the pic, I've added 4 rows of seed stitch to the wrists and bound off. Next is to finish the bottom edge of the sweater (do you think I should make it a bit longer?) with the same 4 rows of seed stitch, then it's onto finishing the neck edge.
I guess I do look a bit like a big blue Furby. 'sOK with me though, I still love the sweater!
